Story: It was chilly that day but you held my hand as we jumped from rock to rock. You said the bridge wasn’t really red but was more of a rusty brown. I didn’t mind because it meant it was getting older like us. When I was down, my mother use to stroke my hair and say, “Don’t worry my love. Soon this too shall pass.” And she was right because it did but so too did moments like these where I hold your hand so tightly in mine. I try to chase them and out them in bags but they are tricky little ones and always manage to fly away. Do you ever wish you could capture a moment in time?
